Fashionista Friday: Ashley Tisdale II

I find it so inspiring to see someone and wish that you could pull off every single thing they wear. Ashley Tisdale has really been honing her style for the last two years and I love watching her style growth. She is young, fun and takes so many risks. She has most recently been wearing a more boho/edgy/hipster style. While this is not how I tend to dress, I would KILL for her closet. She looks great. Always.

I love the crochet shirt with the booties.

Chambray shirt paired with white denim is so Summer time casual.

The pop of red from her bag completes the outfit.

Letting the accessories shine takes the LBD from plain to sassy.

The necklace is gorgeous.

The dress is sexy without showing everything. The champagne color looks gorgeous with her dark hair. I am digging the vampy red lips.

Beach babe! I think the print is amazing and the bandeau top is my personal fav.

This dress is so intricate. I love mixing black and nude. Sassy yet sophisticated.

BFF's. I adore the cropped shirt with the maxi skirt. Playing with proportions is fun.

Outfit Inspiration

I am constantly saving photos of celebs, bloggers and magazine pics of outfits or articles of clothing that inspire me.

There is so many outfits I plan to emulate in the next month or two. I also LOVE certain pieces that I have to add to my wardrobe.

Here are is the inspiration around my future outfits!

Jessica from What I Wore is a mix master artist. She tends to be a little to feminine for my taste but I LOVE this combo. I want to pair my Chambray top with a leopard pencil skirt.

Ashley Tisdale is wearing a basic tee and shorts combo that I rocked ALL summer long.

I am excited to bust this outfit out again and take pictures this time. I also love her Fishtail. That is a great braid that I enjoy wearing.

I LOVE Blair's style even though I know I cannot pull off 99% of the things she does.

I have these Gap shoes and I have never worn them tied with such a large bow. I want to try that the next time I wear them.

Krystal from This Time Tomorrow looks amazing in her white dress/black slouchy cardigan combination. What drew me to the outfit was the pairing of the straw fedora and her strappy platforms. I plan to bust out one of my fedoras, my LC Lauren Conrad 'Zander' platforms and a white dress to rock this look too!

Hilary Duff is one of my favorite celebs out there. I just love her style!!

She is wearing a Helmut Lang draped halter and flared, trouser jeans. I have the jeans but I need to find a similar top for less. I really love her dainty necklace as well.

Jessica Simpson doesn't always get it right. BUT I love her anyways.

I like how she used her Chambray button up as a jacket with a printed romper.

I plan to do the same.

Lo Bosworth has a classic style. I love her crisp white, voluminous v-neck tee with olive cargo pants. It is simple but sophisticated. I need to find a tee like that ASAP.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this look.The feminine blouse paired with tougher looking leather leggings and a pop of leopard is the epitome of my style. Olivia always gets it right. I cannot wait to try a version of this look soon.

Vanessa Hudgen's is a style risk taker. Her Boho chic look draws my eye every time I see her. I not only need a crisp white tee I need a crisp white blouse as well. I love the cut off's (NOT the pockets showing though) paired with a tailored piece. I also love the sandals. I have a couple pairs that I could use in my outfit choice.

Tuesday Travel Style {23}

I have written about Ashley Tisdale numerous times.

I love her carefree, boho, hippy-ish style.

She is hardly seen wearing what everyone else is, yet has a deep love for all things Louis Vuitton.

She is eclectic and I wish I could be that care free in my personal style.

Ashley is on the show 'Hellcats' and it is filmed in Vancouver, Canada. I have never seen the show.

She travels every week when filming.

Fashionista Friday: Ashley Tisdale

I am not sure when I started to fall in love with Ashley's style. If I scour my archives I have been randomly posting about her eclectic style since early 2010. I don't think I have actually seen her act. I know she is a Disney girl, of High School Musical fame and is currently on The CW's Hellcats. But I have not seen any of it. Weird.

Anyways, I love what a risk taker she is. She tends to wear multiple trends and pulls it off. She also wears many up and coming designers. I don't think that she can do wrong in my eyes. I am 100% watching for everything that she wears.

337: "Blanket" sweaters

As Storm Watch 2010 continues in California the only thing I can think about is staying cozy. What better way is there to be cozy than to be wrapped in a blanket in front of a fire? Since that isn't possible I think that wrapping up in a blanket like sweater would be the next best thing.

All three of these ladies look like they are cozy.

I travel. At least once a week I am on a plane. My region consists of 5 states, 12 stores and endless airports. I am either at the beach, in the desert or surrounded by mountains. It is truly hard to pack for the weather. I have been doing this for over two years and I think that I have it down to a science. These are the FIVE things that go with me on every trip.

1. Apple iPhone

This phone has been my lifeline. Internet, games/fashion/social networking apps and an iPod. It is perfect for airport delays, taxi rides and to keep the chatty person sitting next to me from interrupting my de-stressing time! I currently have the 3gs. I never buy the first generation of any product. So I will make my iPhone 4 and iPad purchases in early 2011.

2. Nordstrom Tissue Cashmere

This is the BEST accessory on the planet. This luxurious piece of cashmere acts as a stylish scarf, a wrap to cover your shoulders, a blanket on the plane and a pillow when you need one. It is very durable and doesn't wrinkle too much. It comes in a variety of colors. This wrap has saved my when I forgot to pack a cardi and needed to cover my shoulders for work. It has spiced up outfits when I did not have jewelry or something felt off. Every person needs to own MORE than one of these babies!

3. Reading Material

I am an avid reader. It is my favorite downtime and I devour books! I am the same way with magazines. I can bet that I spend almost as much on books and magazines as I do clothes. Almost! At any given time you can check my bag and find a copy of any of the weeklies: US, Life and Style, In Touch. Along with my Elle, InStyle, Vogue etc. I have a very specific way that I read magazines so that they get looked at more than once.  I just finshed The girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. It was AMAZING. I am always looking for something new to read so send any suggestions :)

4. Nordstrom "Butter" socks

I love shoes. I pretty much only wear heels, HIGH heels. But the thing that you probably don't know is that I don't wear my shoes outside if I don't have to. I always carry flip flops or flats. I am hard on my shoes and don't want to ruin some of the pretty and pricey ones. Wearing flip flops on the plane can end up being quite chilly. Even in the summertime. So I always have the Nordstrom Butter socks with me. They are so soft and easy to wear. My feet always stay protected and cozy. They are sold mostly in November and December. Be sure to pick up a pair! They make great gifts as well!

5. A Large Tote bag (my preference is the Marc by Marc Pretty Nylon 'Tate' bag)

Any traveling Fashionista HAS to have a tote to throw all of her stuff in. Most airlines only let you bring on a small suitcase and a personal item. I need something large enought to carry my laptop, work files, snacks, reading material AND my everyday Handbag. The MMJ Tate holds it all. You will be amazed with how much fits in it. This bag also fits under the seat in front of you and stays pretty clean due to the material. I own three of these bags, not because I needed a new one but because I love the prints so much. I am currently carrying the leopard print. I get more compliments on this bag than anything.

Runner ups:

• Rosebud Salve- it is a lip moisturizer, hand cream and flyaway fixer or eyebrow tamer. Buy it at Urban Outfitters, Anthro or your local beauty supply store. 6 bucks...last forever.
• Evian Facial water spray. GREAT for the face after being in different climates and after long flights with recessed air. YUCK. Buy here.
• Oversized sunglasses: any shape or size. Hides undereye bags, not so perfect make up and looks chic when you leave the airport. I always have two pairs with me.

One hundred ninety four: Mixing trends

Not many people can mix different trends and pull it off. But Ashley did it quite well here. This pic was taken while she was shopping in Seattle. She mixes an ANimal print cardi with a military green dress and cowboy boots. It sounds weird but looks great on. I also think that she looks best brunette! This is a GREAT outfit that she is wearing. I want every piece!

One hundred sixty three: Rockin' Boho

I wish that I was cool enough to dress super Boho and be able to pull it off. I know that we all look at ourselves and our style differently and I know that I am just not that cool. Ok. I said it. BUT if I could I would dress like Nicole Richie and Vanessa Hudgens every day. Love their look.

I am totally digging this outfit that Ashley Tisdale is wearing. It is slightly Boho (in the top, belt and handbag) and kind of tough (with the boots and sunglasses) and I love the whole combo.

She is such a brunette to me. <---- That was a random thought! :p
