What I Wore: One Shirt...Two Ways

I have to admit, being fashionable or stylish ALL of the time is daunting. I am definitely someone who wears the same pieces over and over again. Instead of only taking pictures of the best outfit I decided to show you two ways I wore the same top. I love the ombre top and have had a lot of fun pairing it with color.

The first look is from last Friday. I wore this to my friend's 30th Birthday party at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley. It was cute but still appropriate to bowl in. I still love my red skinnies and think that red ALWAYS looks good with black and gray. The second look is what I wore to work yesterday. Basic dark denim shorts paired with fuschia heels was the perfect complement to the tee. The shoes pulled the whole look together and made a statment.

What I Wore: Imitation is Flattering??

It is only Tuesday and this week is FLYING by. That may sound weird but I had so much I felt the need to get done by today and it didn't happen. Sometimes work, working out, blogging and dating is just too much to balance. I really hoped to get my first 'Flirty Thirty' post up today (I am still not sold on that name for the series. HELP???) and I have a guest post that I thought I would have done and I don't. Plus I owe a couple people some heartfelt emails. UGHHHHH!! How do a lot of you bloggers do it? Some people make it seem so effortless. 

Ok...rant over. Moving on!

This outfit is inspired by errr...completely copied from Miss Mayra. She posted this look a couple weeks ago and I had been on the hunt to find that maxi skirt since then. I finally found it on Sunday (it had to have been returned because I checked that store TWICE) and I immediately ran to the register. I already had the gray tee since I have an obsession with these V Neck pocket tees and buy a new color each week. I threw on my go to sandals and some simple silver jewelry and I was good to go.

What I Wore: Fall on my Mind

What do you do when you have Fall on the brain but you are desperately holding onto Summer for as long as you can? You wear summer clothes in Fall colors :) I found a way to work the system. Hehe. I LOVE Fall, I really do. But I am not ready to bust out my pants and light layers until mid October. It is hard not to fall in love with the clothes as they are hitting the stores and are all over the internet. I am so excited for a season of new trends and to (continue to) wear leopard. :)

I have been dying to wear this hat. I picked it up for $5 at a local boutique. Definitely  a steal. I think that gray looks beautiful with reds and I was excited to pair the hat with my Stylemint tee. I had a pair of shorts that have not gotten much wear that ended up matching perfectly. Since my outfit was very matchy matchy I wanted to wear a stand out shoe. Leopard flats are the perfect pairing.

Looky, looky...I got a new camera.

I know it was just a battery that didn't work BUT that stinking battery cost 63 dollars. I got a camera for $100. I consider it a deal BECAUSE my camera was from 2005, when I graduated college.

SO I have an updated Canon Elph. I hopefully will get a new fancy camera in a couple months.

I was pressed for time so I used the pictures from my quick self session without much playing around!

I LOVE that Kendi posted some tips today because this is getting hard. I picked so many basics that it is hard to layer and create interesting outfits. Plain Jane. I am going to dig in and read some of my other fellow re-mixers blogs for inspiration.

I LOVED this outfit.

Jeans and a blazer always look polished.

I threw on the jeans after a really short shift at work and wore it to my sister's maternity photo shoot.
