PEOPLE Magazine's Annual Sexiest Man Alive

It should come as NO surprise to any of you that I have a little bit of an obsession with celebrities. I should clarify that I really obsess over their style. This blog started out with me sharing looks and outfits that celebrities wore and somehow transitioned into a personal style blog with speckles of celebrity placed in every now and then. A majority of the focus was on women's style but I have never been afraid to touch on men's style and some extremely stylish men! I have blogged about the Ryan's (Gosling, Reynolds, Seacrest), Channing Tatum, Joshua Jackson, Zac Efron and even Kingston Rossdale. I mean, you guys, I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to Men's Style (for dressing my next BOYFRIEND) and an entire board dedicated to Ryan Gosling himself! So anytime that I have to devour a magazine, one of the first I reach for is PEOPLE magazine. I used to buy every single issue when I traveled for work. For three years you would find PEOPLE magazine in my work tote. Now you can just find it in my bathroom or next to my bed! They have the best mix of real life, gossip and style pictures. I LOVE seeing candid pics to see how celebs dress on their down time, BUT I DIE over the "pretty" ensembles they wear to premieres and events. I guess I just love seeing them dressed! PEOPLE magazine just gets it and are truly legit! I obviously say that because every celeb gives them the exclusive on Weddings, Babies and Real Life events first! And since I am friends with all the celebs I can say that. Haha! ;)

Bradley Cooper: Last year's winner

 I am a lover of men, and their bodies, so one of my favorite issues is the Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue. Who wouldn't love to drool over pages and pages of men that look amazing, work hard AND inspire? My number one man, Ben Affleck (who has made numerous appearances on the blog that never got labeled. OOPS!), was named the Sexiest Man Alive in 2002. It is always my hope that he is one of the few to be named Sexiest Man twice! Realistically I know it probably won't happen this year. So I have to guess that my male style crush, who is pretty damn SEXY, Ryan Gosling will be named the Sexiest Man this year! I would not be sad if Garrett Hedlund, Zac Efron or Jake Gyllenhaal was named the sexiest man either! Now you know my top five list! The issue is out on the newsstands on November 15th. I will be running (literally?) to the store to pick it up! Make sure to get your copy quickly as it is only on stands for TWO weeks!

Fashionista Friday: Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala

I feel like this post is such a copy cat post!

I am posting about this event later and really have nothing new to say that other blogger's haven't already said. BUT it is MY FAVORITE fashion event of the year and has been since I was in college. I also collect the books sold at the museum of each exhibit. NYC is my favorite place and my love affair runs deep. This event is generally when we see the biggest fashion risks taken. Many of the celebs pair up with a designer and rock some truly avant garde pieces. This year was no exception. I definitely loved fewer dresses than usual and found many to be quite hideous. It hurts my heart to say that.

Without further ado, here are my TOP PICKS.

BEST DRESSED: Ginnifer Goodwin

I loved the risk, the color, the cut, the shoes, the make up and the jewelry.

She looked like a Fashion ROCKSTAR.

PLUS...it is TOPSHOP. Affordable. Crazy.

The MOST beautiful couple:

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson

She is always dressed impeccably. I love the detail on the bodice and the sexy slit.

He is just amazing to look at.

They remind me of an old Hollywood couple.

Swoon.

SEXIEST ensemble: Gwyneth Paltrow

Hot DAMN!

She looks sensational. The color of the dress is amazing, the backless and extremely high slit scream sex appeal and her shoes are simple and elegant.

Best Dressed Newbie: Taylor Swift

Taylor is dressed so age appropriate. The details of the bodice and skirt are gorgeous and the one shoulder makes the look youthful. Her make up is flawless and it is nice to see her hair in a soft chignon. She looks like a model.

Best Color: Brooklyn Decker

The hot pink dress in such a simple yet sexy shape is to die for.

I love how covered up the top is since the dress shows her entire leg.

I am also enamored with the shoes. They match her skin tone perfectly (and I have been looking for a pair like that for a year. I NEED)

These gentlemen happen to be dating two of the stylish women on the planet. AND they happen to be gorgeous and have a snazzy sense of style themselves.

PLUS they both look like they are straight off of a European vacation. (really it was Mexico but who is keeping track?) I love that they are both wearing hats. Diane is still rocking her military inspired jacket with a floral dress. Nice touch.

I love Pacey...ahem! I mean Joshua Jackson.

Thanks to his super hot, fashion icon girlfriend, Josh has been looking mighty fine these days.

He has the best man style and embraces many trends that most men would not be caught wearing. He utilizes accessories in his wardrobe, wears pink and ends up looking macho instead of fem!

I think he is gorgeous and I want him for my boyfriend.

Style Couple: Josh and Diane

I have slight HUGE crushes.

On Josh and Diane.

Let's go back to 1992.

 Joshua Jackson was in a little movie called the Mighty Ducks.

That is when my crush started.

Fast forward six years to 1998.

Dawson's creek debuted.

It was season three when Joey and Pacey dated that I fell hard.

And I still do.

I just cannot resist his charm. His smug smile.

And now his style.

Diane kills Fashion.

Lagerfeld's Muse.

Incredibly versatile.

Gorgeous.

Iconic, classic, edgy.

And she made Josh hotter than ever.

How does she have the touch to make men's clothes relevant?

I love the full skirt and his tux.

Casual cuteness. Her bag is incredible and he rocks a pink sweater and still looks masculine? Yup!

I think the unexpectedness of her shoe color makes her black outfit pop. LOVE his plaid shirt, tie and vest combo. So not expected.

The train is amazing and she looks simple and elegant.

Mister Rogers chic. Matching scarves and ray bans. Cannot get any cuter!

One of my favorite dresses on her and I LOVE lilac (any purple actually).

And his bow tie matches!

How many guys would actually do that? Not many.
