What I Wore: Concert Attire

It is HUMP day!

Woot! WOot! 

I always look forward to Wednesday because I know the weekend is just around the corner! Today's post is going to be short and sweet. 

I attended the Carrie Underwood concert last night. She was PHENOMENAL live! Seriously. I think she is one of the most gorgeous people in the world. And her legs. Hands down the best I have ever seen. Loved the costumes and her voice is amazing. We had FAB seats and I enjoyed the company of a really good friend who hooked the tickets up! I think this may be my last concert for the year. SAD FACE! Although I will be buying my ticket for Stagecoach Music Festival on Saturday morning! YAY!!!!

I am not one to dress up for concerts. I stick to the basics. Plus it is still hot in LA and it is always hot in the venue. I decided to wear my printed ddenim, booties and a tank. Threw on a necklace and some bangles and called it an outfit! What do you think??

It is about time that I get serious about my diet and exercise.

NOW is the time to make a change...

Because I actually have the time. For seven years I have put every thing and every one else in front of my own wants and needs. Right now I NEED to lose weight.

170: Striped shirts

I am always drawn to striped shirts but tend to stay away in fear of looking heavy and bigger than I am. These three ladies show us how to wear stripes and look svelte all while looking completely different!

Carrie on the way to her honeymoon. I love the shirt paired with gold, sparkly flats. She looks comfy and ready for a long plane ride! Plus she has some of the best legs I have seen. Wow

LOOK! Haylie is wearing the J Brand cargos that I want to buy for my weight loss! I LOVE the beige and white stripes to offset the olive green. Her shoes and bag compliment the outfit instead of take away. She looks happy and fashionable.

I am obsessed with this outfit and I am dying to find a pair of bell bottoms to add to my wardrobe. The wavy hair, flowy shirt and jeans make such a free flowing look!

131: Pink at night

So many woman shy away from color. ESPECIALLY when they are getting dressed for a formal event. I think that wearing Hot Pink is such a new and fun way to stand out. Diane and Carrie both chose pink dresses and took a risk. I know that not everyone is going to love the choices but I think that they are fantastic.

one hundred Ten: Sparkle and Shine

It has been awhile since I posted about shiny, sparkly things. I still have a thing for sequins. Last November I tweeted about how AMAZING Carrie Underwood looked performing in a pair of sequin shorts. She then wore a BANGIN' sequin dress on Sunday at the ACM's. Her legs are PHENOMENAL. I personally don't have the body to rock such booty hugging short shorts, even if they are covered in sequins.

Everyone has done some incarnation of this trend: Chanel, Gryphon, H & M, Topshop, F21 and everything in between.

I did find a pair that I WOULD wear.
