What I Wore: Red and Leopard

I have another Stylemint shirt to show you all.
At the beginning of February I saw this video and knew I HAD to have the top Mary Kate was wearing. Since it wasn't in the February Showroom I figured it would be in March's. I was so sad when I saw my March Showroom on the first and it wasn't available in red. I waited almost two weeks for it to become available and ordered it the second it did. Mary Kate also wore it in Blue here, but I knew that the red and gray were perfect for my wardrobe. While you can see that it doesn't fit me quite like it does MK, I still love it. On me the top is 3/4 length sleeved and I could NEVER wear it as mini dress (as suggested by Stylemint). It is made of French Terry and is cozy. I love the color too.

The top is perfect with my jeggings now while it was a little chillier and will be great with cut offs in the early summer. To dress/sass up the outfit I paired it with my leopard peep toe wedges and a statement necklace.

Fashionista Friday: Really Inspired

I have always loved the Olsen twins. More so as they have gotten older since I was forced to watch ALL of their videos when we were little. My baby sister Sam (she is the same age as them) watched them over and over and over again. They were cute but not THAT cute. HAHA.

I have really fallen in love with their style and this past month seeing pics of them have given me daily inspiration. I spent a couple hours the other night saving pics from olsensanonymous.blogspot.com and planning things in my head.

Obsessed with MK's hair color and currently trying to achieve the look

I posted about my button up shirt yesterday and talked about loving the blue color I saw on the Ashley. These pics sent me on a search for the perfect match. I think I did it :)

I would LOVE to emulate these outfits.

Lastly...both girls have my love for leopard. They ROCK the leopard scarf.

MK and Ashley are true Fashionista's. I have so much respect for their business savvy minds and their personal style.

The Bun is just classic and beautiful. The high waist-ed, flouncy skirt looks perfect with slightly un-buttoned blouse. The nude heels make her legs look miles long!

Fashionista Friday: Ashley Olsen

I look forward to seeing pics of Ashley Olsen. I am completely enamored with her style. I know that many people have mixed views on the twins and their style but I find it fascinating, fresh, exciting and personal. They are so smart and business savvy. Any fashionista should aspire to have their fashion business sense. MK tends to be more of the adventuresome of the two and I tend to like the more classic choices of Ashley.

Here are some of my favorites.

The girl ROCKS the basics like NO other.

She has an incredible figure which makes even the simple tee look fantastic!

I want to wear a turban and look this good. The turban totally adds the final touch to her outfit.

She is such a pretty girl. I love how she wears all black and looks sophisticated, not tough.

My favorite casual outfits. Throwing on a leather jacket when it is chilly and a fun scarf when it is warmer out. Her shoes and bags complete the looks!



I LOVE both of their outfits! And their hair. I originally saved this pic because I wanted to emulate both hairstyles. Their outfits are a plus! I Love the scarf around MK's waist and the shrunken blazer with the belted, long tunic. Super cute.

In all honesty I don't think that I have ever seen Mary Kate Olsen look more beautiful than she does in this picture.

Her face is pure perfection in this picture.

I want someone to do my make up like this every day of my life.

Flawless skin, Brown smokey eyes and nude lips is just the ultimate glam look.

I am NOT a fan of lipstick. I do not wear every day, I forget to reapply if I do and I hate having to be careful when wearing it.

I use rosebud salve and aquafor to give my lips some shine.

I do have a weird lip gloss obsession. I probably have 30 but I only wear gloss once or twice a week. Seriously.

Ok...that was a long tangent. Back to MK.

She is gorgeous (when she wants to be).

She has amazing eyebrows and cheek bones.

I may be loving her leopard Louis scarf too....

And that is the mug of the week.

Fashionista Friday: Mary Kate Olsen

Personally I tend to relate to Ashley and her fashion choices 95% of the time. MK is just a little to Avant Garde for my taste. But then there are some of MK's outfits that I literally die over. The next two pictures are my favorites. And when you see them you will know why...they are definitely subdued for MK and right up my alley.

I have been dying to post this picture. This outfit is me on so many levels. Let's start with the color combination... Black and Gray with the pop of color coming from her accessory. Her jeans fit perfectly and the tunic sweater accentuates her shape and doesn't overwhelm her petite frame. I am the biggest scarf fan and love the plaid and the way she tied the scarf. It makes the outfit. Her shoes are amazing. Pointed Bow toes with a chunky heel. I think that they are Louis Vuitton. She looks chic without being over the top. And it makes me happy!

This is one of my all time favorite outfits. Period. I have been obsessed with the shoes since I saw her wearing them (Victoria Beckham wore them as well). I wish I had bought them. The neon pink is striking. I also have a thing for white clothing, even though I tend to stay away. I loved how intricate the dress is, I am obsessed with the sleeves and the bubble skirt. I would give my left arm for the entire look.

Mary Kate is a true fashionista. She knows what she likes, never apologizes and rocks some incredible pieces. I'm a fan. Huge fan.

I was laughing out loud when I saw it!

The twins definitely have a unique sense of style, that I happen to love. They are petite and have a love for larger things. Ellen did a great job by "gifting" them new handbags and sunglasses.

This totally made me happy.

And love the Olsen's more.

I think EVERY girl who loves accessories can relate.

My BF calls me a BUG when I wear most of my glasses.

And my Dad refers to every handbag I have as "luggage".

Men will never understand!

One hundred ninety two: Long leopard dress

I cannot really explain why I am drawn to all things Olsen. Their personal style absolutely intrigues me. Some things they wear are way out there but they own it. I love this dress. The print is trend right, the belt is fantastic and the shoes are amazing. I am not quite digging the tights but it must have been cold. This look is a win for me.
