Through My iPhone Lens

It has been awhile since I have shared some of the pics that I have taken while out and about that didn't make it to Instagram. I love having my photos on my phone but I was thinking the other day how sad it is that I will never have that feeling of getting my film developed and seeing the memories that were captured. I hardly ever get pics developed from my digital camera or phone. In fact I have a whole house that needs to be decorated and I have plenty of frames to fill. I was showing someone my house and realized that the only pics I have are a couple years old. So I need to get on that.

Here are some pics from the past couple months.

 L) I was so excited to find the Owl Sweater at Target. I obsessed over THIS LOOK that Kate Bosworth wore last Spring to the Burberry show and I think I can find a way to style it to my taste.

R) This is my casual chic look when the weather cools. Beanie, Henley tee, leggings and flat boots. If I am not wearing something fancier, you will find me in this!

L) Holding my cutie patootie niece at a wedding at the end of September. I am wearing a Target dress and the Kendra Scott 'Harlow' necklace and 'Danielle' earrings in turquoise.

R) I got to put the babe to bed two nights in a row. First night was on Instagram and I looked TIRED, this was the second night. A lot easier. :)

 You guys... I am O-B-E-S-E-S-S-E-D with this CD. Beyond obsessed. I have listened to NOTHING else since I bought it. I relate to every song especially as I have been trying to find love again. I have DVR'd everything that she has been on. I called my sister for an intervention the other night. Yup. I am 30 going on 13. No biggie!

 I think you are all familiar with the main man in my life. My nephew!!!!

I grow to love him more and more. He really is the most handsome little boy ever! The boy gets his style from me. Haha.

 Lastly... I am ITCHING to dye my hair. I have had it natural for the last year. I am missing being blonde and I think this is a good compromise. I sent this pic to my hair stylist and I am waiting to hear back. I PROBABLY won't change it, but I sure am tempted. What do you think? Should I????????

I pray that you all have a SAFE Halloween. 

I do not partake in the holiday and will be having a catch up dinner with my old college room mate. :)

I think that True Beauty is when someone feels comfortable wearing NO make up and looks like a bombshell. Anyone that is photographed with out a drop of make up is my hero!

A few weeks ago People magazine put out their Most Beautiful issue. In it was a spread of 10 Hollywood Starlets photographed with tinted moisturizer and lip balm. They looked FANTASTIC.

My favorite was Julianne Hough.

While she is young we hardly ever see her without make up. Especially when she was on Dancing with the Stars.

It was nice to see that she is as beautiful with a plan face as well as a made up one!

I do not wear a lot of make up and haven't since Summer 2003.

On any given day I wear moisturizer, a little concealer, powder and mascara. With Summer approaching I tend to wear even less. I am excited to see that going au naturale is not only acceptable but encouraged.

Julianne is a blank canvas and has a flawless "mug".

The many ways to wear Leather or {faux} Leather

Leather is being used in every silhouette these days.

Shirts, pants, jackets and even dresses.

It is no longer considered "dominatrix" it is an every day fabrication that is being rocked in so many different outfits.

These leather pieces are worn on the red carpet, out to a nice dinner or even running errands around town.

I love colored leather. Ashley's cognac and Kourtney's green are fun and new ways to look fresh.

I love the cropped jackets worn by Jenna Dewan Tatum and Kim Kardashion.

Jenna's toughens up a more classic outfit and I love the drapiness of Kim's look.

Lauren Conrad and Nicole Richie both used jackets to dress up a going out outfit.

Lauren's outfit is one of my favs! I love the color of her dress and her hair is amazing. Her shoes and jacket really compliment AND complete the look.

Nicole pairs her jacket with an all black ensemble, letting her shoes take center stage.

Rachel Bilson and Zoe Saldana each wear a jacket that zips across the chest giving the jacket an interesting detail. Worn with a maxi skirt or skinny jeans makes the jacket super versatile.

Each one of these dresses is different, yet FABULOUS looking. They scream STYLE and define each lady that wears them. I pray to god each night to have a body to wear and amazing leather dress!

Leather or faux Leather leggings seem to be the pant of choice. Ashley and Lauren wear them in a more casual way. JLo chose leather shorts. I am OBSESSED with this whole look! It is amazing. Plus the shoes are AWESOME. Leather and Leopard is the perfect combination :)

These celebs all look amazing and wear leather well.

Julianne is H-O-T

I cannot stop reading ...Love Maegan. I spent two hours last night and another half hour today catching up on the archives and I only made it to September 2010. She is beautiful, witty and has an incredible wardrobe. I want to be her in my next life :)

My House of Harlow 1969 obsession is becoming out of control. I am dying to own these Veronika wedges. And if you follow me on Twitter you will know that I was sad that I passed up the Tribal multi color stackable bangles when I was in Park City. And now I am obsessed with them. And the rings. Eeek!

125: Oh olive!

My love affair with Olive Green has been chronicled for the entire spring season. I have shown the color in so many different articles of clothing. I don't think that I have posted about a dressier piece in this color. I LOVE this Alice and Olivia dress worn by Julianne Hough on a date with Ryan Seacrest. (I adore the cuteness of Juliane and I just FLAT out love Ryan Seacrest. I approve of the coupling in spite of the age difference). I truly think that the accessories make this outfit. I love the whiskey color of the belt and the nude peep toe pumps. They stand out without overpowering the dress.
