Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

I am so excited to be linking up with my dear blogging buddy, Amber, of Real Girl Glam. When I read that the link up was to base an outfit around a pair of shoes I knew that I had to wear THESE. It was really fun to put together an everyday look for such pretty shoes.

I have had this rosette sweater since the Summer and I have only worn it once. I love the color of it and was very inspired all of the blush dresses at The Golden Globes. I paired it with a tank, since the sweater is cropped, and my dark skinnies. Adding the Rose Gold bangles and the watch was the perfect touch. I wanted a pair of earrings that complimented the look but still made a statement since I was wearing my hair up. I like how the look came together with my Loubs.

Bloggers DO it BETTER: Maxi Skirts

I am so happy!

Everything turned out EXACTLY how I planned it to for my Bloggers Do it Better outfit! I could not have been MORE excited for Maxi Skirts. I am enamored with the look. I have worn maxi skirts in a few posts and they were all pretty casual. I wanted to create a dressier look for this challenge.

I saw this skirt while shopping with and for my boyfriend last weekend. He loved it. I loved it. But I didn't buy it. Obviously, I went back. I just couldn't get it out of my mind. I loved the seventies feel of the skirt and knew that a lot of gold jewelry would help play up that trend. I also never wear lipstick and thought that a bold lip would complement the outfit. I threw on a simple tube top and a belt to accentuate my waste. My favorite Jessica Simpson platforms were the icing on the cake. Seventies Glam...I own you ;)
