Purchased and Wants!

Hey all!

I am usually super sad that it is Monday because it is my least favorite day of the week. But today I will be at the taping of Dancing with the Stars!!! I am SO SO SO excited. It is All Star season and everyone is SO good. Plus the men are pretty damn H-O-T!! A huge THANK YOU to my friend Jacqui for inviting me. We are going to have the BEST time!

I wanted to share a few of my purchases with you. I have really been limiting how much I shop. It is sad but my wallet thanks me! I try not to buy anything at full price anymore (unless it is from Target or something).

If I am being honest with myself there is not much that I NEED to add to my wardrobe for Fall. Sure I could pick up some Oxblood pieces since that is the color of the season, or I could buy some new basics to update some slightly worn and loved items. But the only piece that I truly need is a pair of pointy toe black leather stilettos. Of course I WANT the Louboutin pair because they will last the longest and are worth the dinero. I would also take the Jimmy Choo pair as well. It is harder than you think to find the perfect pair in leather. I have found gorgeous options in patent leather and suede but it isn't what I need or want. 

So I ask... 

Have any of you seen a fab pair like the Louboutin's or Choo's? 

Or do I save up and buy the designer pair??

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

 I am so excited to be linking up with my dear blogging buddy, Amber, of Real Girl Glam. When I read that the link up was to base an outfit around a pair of shoes I knew that I had to wear THESE. It was really fun to put together an everyday look for such pretty shoes. 

I have had this rosette sweater since the Summer and I have only worn it once. I love the color of it and was very inspired all of the blush dresses at The Golden Globes. I paired it with a tank, since the sweater is cropped, and my dark skinnies. Adding the Rose Gold bangles and the watch was the perfect touch. I wanted a pair of earrings that complimented the look but still made a statement since I was wearing my hair up. I like how the look came together with my Loubs.

How do I love shoes?

Let me count the pairs...

If you have been a follower of the blog for awhile you will know that I love shoes. I am always looking for new pairs and you can often find my latest lust worthy pair in my What I Want Wednesday posts. After my Shoemint review and a few pics of my closet on Twitter I had quite a few of you comment that you wanted to see more of my shoes. Well, my friends, I am going to show you! This will be a post every week or two. I would love to hear from you what you would like to know about the shoes or designer. All shoes are NOT made equally so ask away!

These beauties are my FIRST pair of Louboutin's. NO Fashionista's closet is complete without some Loub's in it! I fell in love with these shoes because of the pinky nude color. The color can be paired with ANYTHING and they elongate my legs. I love the metal, mesh toe cap. It is a small detail that makes the pumps interesting without being too trendy. I bought these shoes to help perk me up while going through some rough waters! They didn't quite do the trick but they sure do make me smile.

Fit: 
CL's tend to run SMALL. In designer label shoes I tend to wear a 39 (US size 9) and these are a 40 (US size 10). In regular label shoes I wear in 8.5-9 depending on the width. When buying designer shoes you need to know that the toe box is generally very narrow. ALWAYS try them on.
*** I have WIDE feet. I tend to size up in shoes for comfort and then add Foot Petals or Dr. Scholl's in to help them fit better.

Wear: 
I always wear my shoes around the house for hours before I actually have to wear them. The sales associate told me to NOT wear the CL's for more than 4 hours the first time I wore them. They need to be broken in! Patent leather is usually more uncomfortable because they are stiff and don't have much give. 


Comfortability:
I haven't worn these shoes out of the house. They are still being broken in :)
I am probably going to wear them on New Year's Eve.

DISCLAIMER: I feel more comfortable in HIGH heels. I worked in Retail for 8 years. YES, I wore HIGH shoes every day so I am used to being in them!

I have a full blown love affair with shoes.

It started at a young age. The first time I worked hard to earn a pair of shoes was when I was 4. I had to pass my swimming lessons tests to get a pair of gorgeous turquiose, cut out flats (it was the 80's). I passed with flying colors AND ahead of my entire class (clearly I have been a type A, over achiever since birth too). I walked out of the pool gates in a dripping wet swimsuit and those pretty flats with a HUGE smile on my face. Full. Blown. ADDICT!

You all saw my blog posts and tweets about signing up for Shoemint. I hope that you all did becuase I am NOT disappointed. The quality is great, the styles are HOT, totally trend right and they fit great, while being super comfortable. I posted about them HERE and you all asked for more pics of the shoes. Ask and you shall receive! I plan on wearing these babies out!

Double Amazingness

I JUST saw this pic and I had to post it.

If I could pluck BOTH outfits off of these girls, I would. In a heartbeat. I LOVE the way the Kardashian girls step up their fashion game while filming. Their stylist, Monica Rose, is a genius. She pairs the most awesome things together. I would give my first born to work with Monica.

Kourtney: I am loving the Chambray blue shorts suit. So sophisticated. Her crisp white blouse and nude strappy heels truly make the look. I love that her pop color comes from her handbag! GORGEOUS!

Kim: My leopard print love affair is going strong. I have been obsessed since I was 15 and it doesn't seem to be wavering. I LOVE the jumpsuit. The print isn't overwhelming and it totally shows off her perfect figure! She is wearing the same bag that I loved from last weeks Tuesday Travel style post! I LOVE that she paired it with this seventies inspired jumpsuit.

I have been saving these next few pics because I am so inspired by them and truly just love the looks!

I would look GINORM in that tribal print dress but she looks insane. I LOVE the colors in this dress and always enjoy seeing Kim dressed down.

I am obsessed with neon color blocking and I think she did it best.

Pairing chartreuse with blueberry is pure perfection. This little baby doll dress with INSANE  wedges is such a cute look. I want this outfit. Need. Want.

Let's start with the shoes. If I could only have one pair for the next year I would pick these. I love the nude with the mesh metal toe (Beyonce, J.Lo and Christina Aguilera have all worn them too! I will call them the DIVA shoe!) The Diva wants me to own them. I can feel it. White pants are chic. The zipper detail makes them different and slightly edgy. The oversized chambray-ish blouse is sophisticated yet comfy. The BIRKIN in chartreuse is so AMAZING. I would carry this until I died! Seriously.

I am so excited to post these looks.

Now if only I had each of those pieces in my closet.

And their bodies, money and on and on.

HAHA!

I have totally felt a void in posting since my 365 Love Posts ended on December 31. I used to do "What Would You Wear Wednesdays" but I am not feeling it anymore! My Spring Shoes 'Must Have' list

I have Spring Fever.

And luckily the California weather is obliging my wishes for lots of sun.

It is warm, dry and sunshiny!

I love shoes and I am so excited for all of the Spring Trends.

The seventies are back with SKY HIGH wedges.

We are still seeing a neutral color palette.

A lot of booties and touches of embellishment.

The chunkiness is perfect with high-waisted, super flared jeans with a flowy tunic or tucked in tee!

Pierre Hardy Wedges

I am truly obsessed with the black patent and black suede version but I think these are fun for spring. I think the ankle strap is a fun addition. I would wear these with a floral dress or some cut off jean shorts and an embroidered tunic.

Christian Louboutin Mary Jane Pumps

These shoes are insanely high. I love the neutral snake print and the hidden platform. These shoes can be worn with a suit, sheath dress or dressed down with jeans and a cute blouse.

Valentino Studded heels

Oh Valentino, how I love thee! You find a way to be romantic and tough all at the same time. I am enamored with the chain strap detail (although it probably hurts to wear) that is dainty and pretty. These shoes would look so pretty with a mid length flowy skirt, tucked in tee and belt.

Last but most certainly NOT least.

My favorite pair of shoes. Ever.

If I only could buy ONE pair of shoes until July (when Fall starts to hit) it would be these. The color is vibrant, the straps are dainty and sexy and the wedge is INSANE. I would wear these with everything. In fact I would sleep in them.
