What I Wore: The Daily Get Up

There are SO many more Pros than Cons to working from home. But one con is that I hardly ever get dressed in normal clothes let alone actually get dressed up. Most days I go from pajamas to work out apparel and then back to pajamas. Sometimes I throw on a tee, a pair of jeans and flats when I have to run errands and not look like I rolled straight out of bed. As you can see from yesterday's post and now today's, this is what I look like most of the time. And it is not that blog worthy. Might I add that make up happens 2-3 times a week. Haha. I have not a drop of make up on my face in these pics or in yesterday's. Keeping it real, y'all!

This is such a simple look. I try to have a little sass when I wear just jeans and a tee. This tee is fun because of the color and color blocking. I also like to wear fun shoes. These are jellies and they bring me back to my childhood. They are actually super comfy and really cute. I tend to wear my glasses when I am on the computer a lot. Plus I have convinced myself that you can't tell I am not wearing make up when I have them on. Lol.

Three days in a row of outfit posts! Yes! I am on a roll!

This outfit was ended up being more fun than I expected. I LOVED pairing the polka dots together. I feel like the scarf totally complimented the sweater since it was opposite in coloring and the dots even had shades of camel in them. I am usually drawn towards darker jeans (more slimming in my opinion) but I thought that a lighter pair made the look a little more Springy. Since everything else was so neutral I liked having a slight pop of color from the burgundy heels. I kept the jewelry simple. My hair was dirty so the bun was my only option. I HAD to wear the sunnies because I wasn't wearing make up. Haha. And I chose to put on some burgundy lipstick to tie in the shoes and "look" like I was more pulled together than I was. ;)

Merry Christmas Eve!!
I cannot believe it is here already! I hope that you all are spending time with your loved ones and making the most of the Holiday! 

This outfit was worn on the last full day of my Tahoe vacation. Layering is key! I am not a huge fan of layers since my midsection is my biggest area and I feel like layers make me look bigger. UGH! I wanted to stay in the Christmas spirit and loved pairing this jacket with the flannel. I ALWAYS love wearing scarves and this one went perfectly. We took my nephew to play in the snow so wearing my Hunter boots was necessary. I have very muscular calves and cannot wear the tall Hunter's. So if you like the look but have a hard time wearing boots, I suggest checking these out.

Happy Friday!
I am so looking forward to the weekend. I am going to be decorating my house for Christmas. Yay!

You know those days when you just want to be comfy and still look cute? I was having one of those days. I pulled out my really old (yet still one of my favorites) Gap sweater, threw on my super soft jeans and added some booties. Super easy! Taupe is one of my favorite colors to wear. It is neutral yet still makes a simple statement. And I think that I am a little excited that it is finally sweater weather. It has been a long time coming.

What I Wore: Sassy Casual Wear

I have been quite wordy this week! All of my posts this week have had so much info and ended up being l-o-n-g! BUT they are posts that I am really proud of. I LOVE to write and the fact that you come to read (and to see my pics, I'm sure) what I have to say makes me so incredibly happy! Monday's outfit post is one of my favorite, especially since I paired up with Amber. Talking about sexy men and getting all of your opinions is just FUN! And sharing product that I have fallen in love with, like Stella and Dot, is one of my favorite things to do on the blog! So while I may be a bit wordy, I am so glad I blog! I also want to give a quick shout out to my new followers... 15 of you followed along in the past week alone. So flattered! Thank you!

Onto the outfit...
I have a feeling that this look is going to be my Fall/Winter uniform. You all know that I get stuck on certain outfits and find ways to make them look new and fresh. I honestly feel that jeans and a tee can be sexy, and made a little sassier with the proper pieces. Throwing on a leather jacket and some heels made this look go from basic to sassy. I think that lighter denim looks best during the day time. Cuffing the denim keeps the look a little more casual BUT shows off the shoes, which is always a plus. Speaking of my jeans... I am in LOVE. They are the SOFTEST ever and feel amazing on. I want to wear them every day! I wore minimal jewelry due to the fact that the black jacket and heels were harsher against the light denim and mint tee and made a statement on their own. If I was going to transition this look to wear out at night; I would switch out the denim to a really dark pair, add a statement necklace and a dark lip! Basic pieces can be worn without being boring!
