What I Wore: Camo, Stripes and Snake...Oh my!

You guys...
We have to talk about The Bachelor! How many of you are watching this show? I blame my parents for sucking me back in after not watching for several seasons. But man, it is a trainwreck that I can't tear my eyes away from. Since I am single, I am using this as a "what not to do" guide. I mean, there are some really cute and normal girls but the crazies are just in your face. I am truly blown away by the manipulation and flat out bitchiness. I live by the saying "treat others how you want to be treated" and "be kind to everyone because you don't know what battle they are going through". I get that you won't mesh with or be friends with every girl... BUT that does not mean you can act a fool. For the record: I would NEVER be able to be on a show like that, I don't think I could deal with all those girls dating the one man I want and I would have a hard time not running my mouth. America does not need to see that side of me. Haha! If I ever ended up on the show I would never, ever, ever act in a way that would embarrass my parents and make them question how they raised me.

PS. I LOVE that Selma won't kiss him on TV out of respect for her mom.
PPS. I actually think that Sean is very genuine and real. Heart him

So what do you wear when it is chilly AND you have a couple new items you are dying to wear? You just layer everything on and hope it goes. I knew that I wanted to wear this top with the heels when I bought them. The subtle, natural snake print seemed like the perfect print to pair with a somewhat neutral and navy striped top. I added the camo jacket because I liked the color combo of the tan, navy and green. You tell me... did I pull off mixed prints?

Camo, Stripes and Snake...Oh my!

What I Wore:

Top: Old Navy
Jacket: Old Navy, Old (similar)

  7. I really like how you matched the camo with the stripes! I always get hesitant to match different pants...but you really pulled this one off! And I'm hooked to the Bachelor too :-) Selma is my favorite!

    1. Thank you so much. I think the trick with print mixing is to stay in the same color family to create continuity. Try it!

The Bachelor has been fun and eye opening to watch. Lesley M (brains, beauty and wit), Selma (drop dead gorgeous and funny) and AshLee (real, genuine and gorgeous but why oh why does she capitalize the L though?)are my faves!

  9. I always have such a problem when I buy something cute and new and it's winter and not really appropriate for cold temperatures but I decide to wear it anyways! I love how you just threw everything on together--I think the best outfits are a little mismatched!

    1. It is a big problem for me too! I think just wearing it anyways is the best. and I agree that mismatched is the best. Showcases personality! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
