What I Wore: Snow Day

I knew that it was going to be cold in Tahoe. But I still wasn't prepared. I am not a huge fan of the cold BUT I was super excited to layer, wear boots and scarves. We have spent most of our days indoors while it has been snowing. I am not used to so much down time. But I am being forced to relax and that isn't a bad thing.

I planned all of my outfits for the trip to have a "Christmasy" feel. Lots of red, green and neutrals. I bought this sweater after seeing it on the @TargetDoesItAgain Instagram a few weeks ago. I bought it two sizes larger than my normal size so that it would be loose and kind of drapy. These jeans have been a go to pair and I am about to buy them in a size smaller since they are getting loose. :) I LOVE these boots and while I have worn them a few times this is the first time that they are making an appearance on the blog. I LOVE wearing fun socks, especially when they peak out a little bit. I used the scarf to tie the whole look together.

Snow Day

  2. The color of your boots is so awesome. I live in PA so I'm mentally preparing myself for that much snow. But I'm still not a fan of the cold. Brrr. You have a great blog lady! I'm your newest follower and I'm excited to read more!

  3. Love these boots! I have been looking for boots like this forever and can't find the right ones to fit around my calves- the Old Navy Plus ones are too big and regular ones seem to be too small- so maybe I will have to try these ones! You look great as always and I'm glad you had a good family vacay!!
