I cannot tell you how long it has been since I participated in Everybody, Everywear. I kept missing and forgetting, I didn't care for the trend and I wasn't into link ups. I actually wasn't going to participate because I don't really wear pastels often but then I got these mint green platform heels. I had to wear them immediately and planned my outfit around them. While I am not usually drawn to pastels I have been VERY into mint green (light, true mint green) and all shades of coral (pale, to tangerine, and neon!). I am not a pale pink or even blue girl at all. They seem almost to "sweet" to me and I know that my personal style is not on the "sweet" side.
I am pretty much head over heels for these shoes. They are pretty darn close to the Louboutin's that I just can't afford right now! I am a huge fan of mint green and gray. I received my snake print jeggings for Christmas and have had a harder time pairing them with things than I thought I would. I have worn them with plum, other shades of gray and black and not loved any of the looks. While today's look is simpler, paired with a basic v neck tee, I am a huge fan of how the look came together. I could have worn a regular pair of denim but I like the dimension that the printed pants brought to the shoes. I also think that this look is true to me...simple, tying in a trend and wearing sassy shoes.

I love this combination of mint and grey. Nice to see the pastel mixed with something a little different (not another lIght color). Love those wedges too!
