As much as I L-O-V-E accessories, I do not tend to wear headbands or head wraps that much. In fact I think the only time I have really blogged about it was last April. So when my cousin sent me a picture of a girl with a head band/wrap on she asked me what I would wear with a wrap. Game on!
Since I have been pretty much obsessed with the seventies revamp I thought that the head wrap complimented the maxi skirt and flare jeans. I put together two looks, one on the casual side, the other a little dressier.
Jenn...I hope this is what you asked for.
If not I will redo. Haha.
Wrap it up!
Look One:
Excuse the wind...it wasn't my friend.
I loved pairing the turquoise wrap with the melon skirt. The colors are bright and fun. I think that complement each other and still stand out.
What I Wore:
Scarf: Echo
Tank: Mossimo Drapey Tank...my new fav. I want to get all four colors. The fabric is soft and doesn't cling
Maxi Skirt: H&M
Shoes: LC Lauren Conrad "Zander"
Sunnies: Gucci vintage cat eye. Blogged about HERE. These are one of the prescription pairs I bought.
Look Two:
This outfit is easy and comfy. I love these flares but I think that they are a bit short when I stand straight. I can only wear certain shoes with them. None of my platforms are low enough :( Oh, I just realized today that I HATE my upper arms. Which is super unfortunate that summer is coming and I love tank tops. UGH!
What I Wore:
Wrap: Echo
Tank: Mossimo Drapey
Jeans: Gap High Waisted flares
Shoes: LC Lauren Conrad "Zander"
What do you think??
Would you wear the wrap? Did it dress up the outfits??
Yes Yes Yes!!! I LOVE it, you paired the outfits so well, and the head wrap is for sure a great accessory. Now I completely see and visualize a complete outfit using this accessory! It made each outfit completed, and cute. I love the colors you used. THANK YOU so much cousin! I freakin love you, you are WAY too adorable!
ReplyDeleteI will be going shopping to find just the perfect head wrap to give this look a try. I will be sure to send you a pic. :) YAY!
~~ This blog made me even MORE excited for Spring & Summer!! <3
