Winter 30 for 30 remix: the LAST outfit

I cannot believe I completed the challenge.
But I did...even if I don't have the pics to prove it.
(I am kind of mad at myself for that, now that I am out of my funk. That's life :()

Remixing.
I have one word for it...challenging.
I am not going to lie, I am not 100% sure that I would have completed the challenge if I was living in my home and had access to my closet. I was staying between places and only packed my 30 items. I was stuck with them. My will power would have been tested with seeing all of my clothes every day. With that said I learned a lot about my style and how I look at my closet.

What I learned:

1.   I have SO MANY clothes and I don't "create" outfits the way I should. I am super creative and that doesn't always show.

2.   I am not a "super" fan of layering. My apple shape doesn't work well with the extra padding. I love the look but don't think I pulled it off.

3.   I do NOT wear enough colors or prints. 90% of my choices were in the same color family and solid. I need some color in my life. And the prints I did choose looked the same with everything because of the monotony.

4.   I don't NEED any clothes but I need to update some staples and venture out.

5.   I missed my shoes. OH, how I missed them. I definitely use shoes to change my appearance and I felt so limited.

6. At this point I don't know if I would remix again. ONLY, Time will tell.

7. I am NOT (as) afraid to post style pics. YAY!

My LAST Outfit: #30

What I Wore:
Dress: Semantiks shift
Long Sleeve top: Rubbish
Vest: Gap
Tights: Spanx
Shoes: Trouve
Belt: H&M braided skinny
Thoughts???
Fellow re-mixers...what are your wrap up words of wisdom?

  1. Yay! so happy you completed the challenge :) I don't know if I could do it because I'm just way to indecisive with clothing.
