Many people believe that you shouldn't wear baggy or voluminous articles of clothing when you are heavier or carrying some extra weight. That is definitely something that I have NEVER believed. I have never shied away from maxi-anything (dresses, skirts, shirts), baggy jeans, harem pants, flowy tunics and on and on. I fully believe if you pair a bigger piece with a more tailored, tight or structured piece you can even out or highlight or best feature.
This outfit consisted of baggy BF jeans and a shapeless utility jacket. Both items can leave you looking shapeless or larger than you would want. I made this outfit a little more feminine and girly with jewelry and funky shoes. I loved the way the outfit turned out.
Sloppiness :)

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you minus the sloppy title. You look totally put together and those shoes are to die for. My BF jeans are currently my fave as well bc skinnies are great but nothing beats comfy!
