I am a HUGE accessories girl. Blame it on my job for the last six years. I have a HUGE collection of hats, scarves, headbands, statement earrings and handbags. I firmly believe that accessories truly make the outift. You can dress up the most basic pieces and look fab. I tried a new trend today, a hippy headband. I tend to feel "weird" when I wear things that are out of my style realm. But I LOVED this look. My friend Andrea posted about a headband that she had just bought and I was totally inspired. Not only was this look easy but look so {Boho} chic.
What I wore:
Headband: Tasha "mixed knot" head wrap from Nordstrom Sunglasses: DVF from Nordstrom
Earrings: old hoops from Target
Hair How to:
- Start with day old hair and part
- Place head wrap around head at most comfortable place
- Pull hair to one side
- Wrap hair around the headband to create a messy loop
- Pull out a few tendrils for a completed look
With my excitement for Sex and the City 2 being released. I HAD to post these two pictures of Carrie sporting the same trend. Carrie is my favorite.
I think this looks great on you! I don't think I could pull this off. The headband is really pretty though, I especially love the color.
