What I Wore: Kind of 80's

Life.
It really is a crazy, crazy ride.

The last couple of weeks have been a challenge.
Mentally, emotionally exhausting.
I swear that one thing always leads to another, ensuring that everything hits you all at once. I have so many thoughts running through my mind and a few big decisions to make. In reality I just want to crawl into bed and sleep for a month. Haha. So please excuse me for being kind of short.

When I feel like this I tend to turn to my more comfortable clothes. Stretchy denim, tunic/jersey tops and boots are what I reach for. This outfit is the perfect example of that. Although I ran a bunch of errands in this outfit and got multiple compliments on the look. Sometimes the basics are the most relatable. This top is on the bigger side, as most of my clothes are these days, and is made of sweatshirt material. A definite eighties vibe since it wouldn't stay on my shoulder. One trick that I have found that helps me when wearing booties is to roll my pants up one or two times. I think it looks cleaner and makes the legs look leaner when you can see the ankle. Overall, I was able to transition a Summer color into a pretty simple, Fall look.

Kind of 80's

What I Wore:

    Life is a crazy ride... whatever you're in the middle of will pass, just like it always does {though it's sooooo hard to remember when in the midst of it}
