What I Wore: Birthday Girl!!

It's official...
Birthday Hangover has set in.
I have to move on and realize that I have no other excuse to "celebrate" my birthday again until next year. That just depresses me.

BOO! HOO!

On a positive note, I celebrated my Big 3-0 with friends and family on Saturday. I have had the most incredible week and I am SO SO SO Thankful to have the most amazing people in my life. I am beyond blessed and I could not be more grateful. We had a pool party at my complex with a taco bar, rice krispie treats and brownies in lieu of cake. Unfortunately I am not Martha Stewart and my party was not at Pinterest level. Haha.

If you were wondering what I did on my actual birthday (and you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram), I spent the evening with my BFF, her fiance and a friend. We went to Katsuya in Hollywood. The food was amazing, I found my new favorite drink "Burning Mandarin" and the ambiance was pretty fab. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

Here are a few pics of what I wore...

 Birthday Look 1:

Blouse: NY&Co from a few years back (similar)
Jean Jacket: Gap (similar)
Rings: Kendra Scott 'Shelby' in black and pyrite

Birthday Look 2:

Bathing Suit: L*Space 'Dolly'
Maxi dress: Calypso St. Barts for Target (similar) (LOVE this dress)

  1. Happy Happy Birthday all over again! It's definitely okay to stretch it out a little bit :) Love that maxi dress/swim cover over, and the bikini is so cool!

  5. ah, you look awesome! I LOVE that maxi dress (or pool cover-up?), you look phenomenal in it. And that shredded bikini top is TOO cute. It is always depressing after your birthday is over but the short-window of celebrations is what makes it special. you look radiant.

and I just checked my email tonight for the first time in pretty much... FOREVER- ah! I'm so sorry you've been writing me, I will email you back tonight. I was not ignoring you, swear!
