I don't know about you but I NEVER want the weekend to end. Not because this weekend was more fun than usual, but because I love how RELAXED everyone seems on the weekends. PLUS, this was the first weekend this month that June Gloom didn't make it's awful appearance.
Most weekends I dress pretty casually... Or sloppy, lazy, not fashionable etc. I like to be comfortable and don't get dressed up unless I have somewhere to be. I LOVE wearing my bathing suit with a dress or a pair of shorts and tee/hoodie and flip flops. So that is what I am going to share with you today!
(Please promise me you will keep reading! I'll wear fun things again)
I actually DRESSED up on Saturday for my dear friend, Lauren's, birthday lunch at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. But...did I take outfit pics??? Nope. I can't take pics by myself in front of people. Weird, I know. I need to get over it! Here is a cropped pic of my outfit from our group pic.
I spent all of Sunday in bathing suit. I pulled a dress out of my closet that I LOVE but feel like it is too short to wear in public but realized that it would make a great cover up. I was actually inspired after seeing this pic.

I love this Tolani cover up but cannot spend $187 on something I would wear for a few minutes to and from the pool/beach. I got this dress at Forever 21 over a year ago. The material is so soft and silky. I think it is a great "Look for Less" option! What do you think?
I think that this is the most I have ever shown my figure...
My curves are on display! Hey, Hey, Hey!!!
What I Wore:
Dress: F21
Sandals: H&M
Suit (not shown): Tar-Jay!
Sunnies: Ray Ban
I put on this outfit for lounging around my house. And this is a perfect example of what I put on after a long day or when I know I won't be doing much. I DID run to pick up dinner in this. So it made a public appearance. HA!
NOT the most flattering outfit. I get it. Keeping it real her on Life in the Fashion Lane!
What I Wore:
Top: Wildfox Couture "Baggy Beach Jumper"
Shorts: Gilligan O'Mally from Target
Flip Flops: Haviana's
Sunnies: Ray Bans
Happy Monday!
Starting it off on the right 'Fashionable' foot!
Haha!

ReplyDeleteyou look fabulous :) the F21 dress/coverup is fabulous girl! hope you had a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have an old tunic that works great as cover-up, although it's not as fancy as yours! I think you definitely got a look-for-less going with that dress!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the dressed down looks because that's what most of us live in on the weekends. Plus, your dressed down look is still very chic my friend! I am loving those purple sandals they really pop!
ReplyDeletei love how you and jared are holding hands in my group lunch pic!! lol
