It is VERY hard to take a rather masculine trend, such as Utilitarian, and make it feminine. But Lauren found a way.
I am obsessed with the dichotomy of the army green, gold buttoned, military inspired coat with a feminine twist of a full, flouncy skirt. Her taupe pumps add to the outfit without competing. The whole look is A+ in my book.
Her hair (what I long for mine to look like) has been cut from her LONG extensions she usually rocks.
I am a HUGE Lauren fan and am excited to see her fancy wardrobe as she hits the press trail for her new book{s}.

I'm fairly sure Lauren would look fab wearing a trashbag. Her timeless style always wins me over, and her fashion-forward trends are never hit or miss. She wears everything really well, and I think she's a fab role model for young women. Bravo on posting about such a classy lady! ;)
