The one item that I NEVER seem to grab for casual looks is my blazer. I think wearing blazers for work for years definitely turned me off to them. YET every time I see an outfit with a blazer I want to emulate it. Bi-Polar, much? When I saw this outfit on Pinterest I figured that I had to try to wear a blazer, sooner rather than later. Luckily, I picked up a neon-ish pink blazer at the Gap a few weeks ago with a 40% off coupon. It is ponte knit so it is less stuffy and really easy to wear. I paired it with my go to BF jeans and a gray top (because I cannot find the perfect white tee for the life of me) and opted for my leopard wedges. I am a sucker for pink and leopard together. I think the whole look came together well. It still feels a little businessy to me but I think I will get over it!
Punch of Pink
What I Wore:
Blazer: Gap
Top: Lush (old)
Jeans: Gap 'BF' (similar)
Shoes: Steve Madden 'Westii'
Sunnies: Prada 'Butterfly'
Love that pink blazer! I stopped wearing blazers for a while because of working in them all the time, but now they are my go to item. Love this look!!
ReplyDeletelove this blazer!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful!! Pink + leopard is one of my favorite combos in the world. Gorgeous girl!!
ReplyDeleteI wear blazers to work all the time (it's the ESQ in me) but I still wear them on the weekends. I know what you mean though, I have a whole slew of 'work tops' that are strictly for work - and that never get incorporated into my fun, weekend wear ;0)
